March 3rd update:
My new assistant Jayson and I are making quick work of the engine and tranny now!

The new ClutchMasters Stage 3 clutch [which is a Luk pressure plate and Clutchnet segmented kevlar disk] and UUC [made by Fidanza] flywheel are installed. The clutch feels much different than stock; similar pedal effort before and after engagement, however the engagement zone is firmer, and "snappier" than stock. Also the new oil filter canister is installed, complete with the drilled and tapped and installed turbo oil feed fitting. Lastly, removed the weights from the transmission shift linkage, thus improving shift resolution and reducing the transmissions tendency to numb shift feel. Now for the hot pictures!
